Message from the President
WE ARE CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS
As I read through my American Patriots Bible this summer and prayed for Dallas Eagle Forum, its members, its leaders and the direction that God has chosen for us, I came across two very powerful historic speeches that sum up our current state of affairs in America and our role as God’s Christian soldiers. I believe that God has prepared Dallas Eagle Forum for “such a time as this.”
Each of us has a God-given role whether it is to learn the truth and share it with others or to work on a specific project. I pray as in 2 Timothy 4:7 that we may fight the good fight, finish our course and keep our faith in Christ who calls on us.
Freedom Requires Bravery
Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
A few months before signing the Declaration, Patrick Henry (1736-1799) addressed the Virginia Convention and declared: “We are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Three millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave.”

The Power of Prayer
Philippians 4:6 …in everything by prayer and supplication…
General Robert E. Lee (1807-1870), Commander of the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia, wrote: “Knowing that intercessory prayer is our mightiest weapon and supreme call for Christians today, I pleadingly urge our people everywhere to pray. Let there be prayer at sunup, at noonday, at sundown, at midnight, all through the day. Let us all pray for our children, our youth, our aged, our pastors, our homes. Let us pray for our churches. Let us pray for ourselves, that we may not lose the word ‘concern’ for those who have never known Jesus Christ and redeeming love, for moral forces everywhere, for our national leaders. Let prayer be our passion. Let prayer be our practice.”.

EAGLES ARE…
“Vigilant” Eagle-eyed and equipped with the keen ability to see at a distance. Eagles keep careful watch for possible danger or difficulties. They are perceptive, insightful, intelligent and able to understand or notice something easily or quickly. (Ephesians 5:15)
“Active” Engaged and purposeful in flight with powerful wingspans. Soaring swiftly, they protect and promote biblical principles and values socially and politically. (Jeremiah 48:40)
“Brave” It is said that George Washington was as brave as an eagle, hence the Washington Eagle. Likewise, Dallas Eagles have willing hearts and desire to follow God’s will in faith thru Christ. (Philippians 4:13)
